'Butterfly Ballot' Architect Voted Out of Office

NPR's Eric Weiner profiles Theresa LePore, the election official in Florida's Palm Beach County blamed for the infamous "butterfly ballot" of 2000 -- a paper ballot format that allegedly confused voters and cost former Vice President Al Gore many votes. She was recently voted out of office.
