Morality, Politics and the Bush Re-Election

While Sen. John Kerry focused on trying to win over key battleground states with criticisms of the war in Iraq, unemployment and health care, the Bush administration -- for the most part -- let morality be its compass, steering the debate toward controversial issues of virtue, like same-sex marriage and abortion. NPR's Tavis Smiley talks morality and politics with former Boston Mayor Ray Flynn, now national president of Catholic Citizenship, and civil rights advocate Rev. Jesse Jackson.
