High Court Keeps 'Under God' in School Pledge

The Supreme Court dismisses on a technicality a lawsuit seeking to drop the phrase "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance. The ruling sidesteps the question of whether the phrase, when used in the public school recitation of the pledge, is an unconstitutional violation of the separation of church and state.
