Tumult Prevails in Kyrgyzstan's Capital

Disorder persists in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, the day after mobs of opposition demonstrators forced the ouster of President Askar Akayev.

Akayev left the country Thursday, and the capital has been the scene of widespread looting. Akayev released a statement Friday saying he won't resign.
