Take a leisurely walk through the grounds and trails of Chinsegut Hill Historic Site with Jim Davis, director of the University of Florida’s IFAS Extension. The 114-acre preserve includes both native and invasive plant species and towering oak trees, each with a story tied to the Chinsegut homestead. The guided nature walk from 9-11 a.m. is free with registration thanks to the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences. Email Jim Davis at dvisshdn@ufl.edu to register.
