Join with the Storytellers of Old Tampa Bay for holiday stories as we sponsor a Toy Drive benefiting the century old all-volunteer children's charity, The Christmas Toy Shop, in St. Petersburg, Dec. 10. At our 2nd Saturday Open Mic. we will be collecting new and lovingly used toys and sharing holiday stories with Santa and Ms. Claus. 5-7 PM in Library Hall, The Factory, 2622 Fairfield Ave. S. St. Petersburg, FL. during St. Pete Art Walk.
Free event with refreshments. PLEASE DONATE A NEW OR GENTLY USED TOY AT THE DOOR. The Factory is easily accessed, just off the 28th St. S. I-275 Exit, by the Pinellas bike Trail.
The Storytellers of Old Tampa Bay Storyteller's Guild, an all-volunteer Not-for-Profit community organization dedicated to preserving the ancient art of spoken stories and fostering interest in community literacy, offers short spoken tales for grown-ups in a family friendly environment and invites everyone to step up during the Open Mic and share their favorite story, 3-8 minutes in length.
