Our mission at Powerstories Theatre is to stage true stories of women and girls to open minds and hearts. The mission for this workshop is to help you realize the power of your story…and use it to thrive.
All workshops to be held on Zoom at 7 PM EST on June 11, June 18, June 25, July 9, July 16, and July 23.
This signature workshop has been taught to thousands of women since 2000. If you are a woman who wants to articulate who you are, what you stand for, and how you contribute to the world, this workshop is for you. It will support you in seeking to know and build your own story for personal, business, or entertainment reasons. Both beginner and experienced storytellers are welcome.

Each Art Play Date Session is a stand-alone session for 1 caregiver and 1 child artist to play with materials and create a collaborative project. This class occurs at the Firehouse Cultural Center.

Palm Harbor Museum invites you to its Third 2025 Family Intergenerational Discovery Day brought to you by Pinellas Community Foundation and Faith Mission Grant on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 11 to 2 with a fun Back To School Festival. Come by the museum for all or part of this time and enjoy summer and back to school arts and crafts, activities, games, and refreshments.
All indoor exhibits, the museum's historic Grove House, and outdoor native landscape exhibit are open for your enjoyment, including the museum's newest exhibit, Marriage and Mayhem in the Sunshine State. Docents will be available, or take a self-guided tour. Enjoy the museum's Wind Phone and native flower gardens and outdoor informational signage along with free Culver's frozen custard and other refreshments as well. No RSVP necessary. Join SAGES (Senior Actors Guild & Education Services) and our talented senior cast as they present this FREE & FUN one-act play about maintaining independence while safely steering your way through the twists and turns of life.
Open to the public with NO COST for admission. Family friendly and handicap accessible. Play runs 60 minutes, followed by 30-minute Q & A with Florida Highway Patrol and Local Law Enforcement.
Reservations for FREE general seating can be made online. Doors will open at 1:00 pm for guests with reservations. Walk-ins will be seated in any open seats at 1:45 pm. Arrive early for goody bags and door prizes!
Now in its 10th anniversary year, Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe’s Stage of Discovery summer musical theatre camp is gearing up for its most ambitious program-culminating show ever: on July 12-13, the 34 participating students will present “Alice in Boogie Wonderland.” The original musical, written by WBTT’s Education Director/Artistic Associate Jim Weaver, is a two-act musical incorporating favorite characters from the classic children’s story, “Alice in Wonderland,” with plentiful music and WBTT’s own entertaining twists. Musical styles will include pop, disco, R&B, and oldies. Performances will take place in WBTT’s Donelly Theatre (1012 N. Orange Ave., Sarasota). Showtimes are Saturday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets, which are $30/adults, $10/students (including ticket fees), are available at westcoastblacktheatre.org.
