The Environmental Protection Commission of Hillsborough County (EPC) is hosting its 24th annual Clean Air Fair on Thursday, May 1st, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Poe Plaza, conveniently located in downtown Tampa at the corner of Jackson and Franklin Street. Recognizing that it takes community effort, dedication, and your good work to achieve a cleaner environment, this year's theme is "Plant-It Earth: Rooting for Clean Air!"
The fair aims to showcase efforts to sustain the environment for future generations while encouraging individuals to take action and celebrate the importance of local environmental protection. This free lunchtime event will feature a variety of environmental exhibitors from across the county, along with health information, complimentary refreshments and food samples, nature exhibits, prize drawings, live music, and an Arbor Day giveaway of free tree saplings to interested attendees (while supplies last).
Additionally, we will display the finalists' artwork from EPC's annual environmental photography contest. There is no fee to attend or exhibit, but prior registration is required for any environmentally conscious companies wishing to participate.
