America's Boating Course (Boating Safety Class)
America's Boating Course is the Safe Boating Class that will earn you a Florida Boater ID Card. This card is required by law for anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 in order to operate a power boat of 10 or more horsepower in Florida. This is an 8 hour classroom course, conducted in tow half-day session on June 21 and 22. There is a multiple choice exam you must pass to qualify for the boater ID card. Advanced registration is required.
