A true special event, internationally celebrated violinist Alexander Markov combines a marvelous program of beloved violin classics with his own extraordinary rock and roll oratorio, “Caesar!” The son of acclaimed violinists Marina and Albert Markov, Alexander features their artistry alongside his own in a selection of masterpieces arranged for violin duo and trio. After intermission, Alexander takes the stage with his gold electric violin and brings the tale of Caesar to life. Key Chorale and the Booker High School VPA Choir will share the stage with Alexander, a rhythm section, organ, and orchestral musicians in this unique and unforgettable performance.
