Celebration: Concert by the Chamber Orchestra of Sarasota
The concert celebration the 75th anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel with performances of music by five Jewish composers, including Felix Mendelssohn, George Gershwin, and Ernest Bloch, plus the US premieres of music by Israeli composers Boris Levenberg and Noubar Aslanyan.
Featured soloists are violinist Christina Adams, trumpeter Robert Smith, and pianist Ann Stephenson-Moe. Robert Vodnoy is the music director and conductor.
