On Saturday, July 19, from 2-4 p.m., as part of its Summer Masterclass Series, Music Compound – in partnership with the Percussive Arts Society (PAS) of Florida – will present a drum clinic focused on rhythm control, relaxation, pro-level technique, and the drumming mindset. The clinic will feature pro drummer Nic Collins (Genesis, Mike & the Mechanics, Better Strangers), the son of world-famous drummer/vocalist Phil Collins; session artist, Berklee-trained educator and clinician Dave Stark; and internationally-respected composer and pianist/keyboardist Jay Oliver. Special guests will include Autumn Hill Records drummer Rob Silverman and entertainment attorney/music industry consultant Paul Quin.
