Ward Connerly on Michigan Civil Rights Initiative

A federal appeals court has given a campaign calling itself the Michigan Civil Rights Initiative the green light to gather petitions -- but now the group has modified their plans. NPR's Tavis Smiley talks with Ward Connerly, chairman of the American Civil Rights Institute in Sacramento and a University of California regent, about the initiative.
