Role of Islam vs. National Identity in Tsunami Aid

Does national identity trump faith in the Muslim world's tsunami aid efforts? NPR's Eric Weiner reports that some observers in the Muslim world have charged that oil-rich states of the Persian Gulf have not done enough to help fellow Muslims affected by the tsunami. That's led to a debate about what role national identity plays in determining relationships between Muslim countries.
