Three-Drug Treatment & Africa

The international AIDS conference in Vancouver has featured some good news about treatments for AIDS that combine several anti-AIDS drugs in order to suppress the virus. However, the cost of this kind of treatment is prohibitive for people living in some of the poorer countries of the world. Linda talks with Dr. Georgette Adjorololo (AH-jorr-oh- LOH-loh), a delegate to the International AIDS Conference from the Ivory Coast, about the problems facing developing nations as they try to stop the spread of AIDS.
