Today is Pioneer Day, when Mormons celebrate the day their ancestors first came to Utah almost 150 years ago. But Utah was seen as a haven for other religious groups as well. At the turn of the century, a small gorup of Jews from the East created Clarion, a community in the desert dedicated to a return to the land by Jews.
