Congress ousted the country's unpopular president last week, then yesterday, Ecuador's Vice-President was temporarily sworn in, becoming the country's first female leader. She plans to stay in office until the constitution can be changed, but Congress wants her to step down tomorrow. Ecuador's constitution does not follow a clear line of succession to replace a deposed president.
