Between 1965 and 1975 the divorce rate doubled. According to one survey -- a third of young adults say they're parents divorced before they turned 18. For 30-year-olds, to be a child of divorce was -- for the first time -- not unusual. It has influenced their childhoods and the ways that they make decisions about their adult lives.
