High Court Weighs Notification For Teen Abortions

The U.S. Supreme Court hears arguments Wednesday on a New Hampshire law requiring parents be notified when a minor seeks an abortion. Advocates of the law say parents know best for their child, but a federal appeals court struck down the law because it did not include an exception for a medical emergency in which the health of the minor was in danger.

David Savage, Supreme Court reporter for the Los Angeles Times; author, Turning Right: The Making of the Rehnquist Supreme Court

Kelly Ayotte, attorney General of New Hampshire

Louise Melling; director of the ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project; lawyer representing Planned Parenthood of Northern New England
