UAW expands strike to Michigan assembly plant

In a statement, United Auto Workers said 6,800 people had walked off their jobs at an assembly plant in Michigan on Monday morning.

We get the latest on this expansion of an industry-wide strike that’s throttled U.S. car manufacturing.
