Join us for an evening with Florida Nature Writer Lars Andersen at the Chinsegut Conservation Center north of Brooksville. Andersen is a long time Florida nature guide, writer, and advocate. His works includes books on Paynes Prairie as well as featured contributions to Florida nature writing anthologies. Andersen is a contributor in the new and eagerly awaited Florida nature writing anthology, "The Wilder Heart of Florida: More Writers Inspired by Florida Nature" (University Press of Florida). His latest endeavor is "The Paddler’s Guide to the Sunshine State", second edition, which he co-edited with Sandy Huff (published March 2022 by University Press of Florida). Andersen has won several awards for his tours, and for teaching natural history and advocating for Florida’s springs and nature.
