Frances Powers’ work has always encompassed organic forms derived from nature. Living in Florida, with an abundance of flora and fauna, is inspirational for her work which can be either stylized landscapes, or landscapes that include architectural forms and flora and fauna. Her work has been included in group and solo exhibits throughout the U.S. including SOHO 20, New York; Muse Gallery, Philadelphia; Sarah Doyle Gallery, Brown University; Woods Gerry Gallery, Rhode Island School of Design; and Boston Visual Arts Union, among others.
