St. Pete ArtWorks presents a juried exhibition highlighting select talent from our region and beyond. The show was open to any artist, including non-gallery members, who responded to an open call with their best work. The exhibition represents a variety of media, including sculpture, painting, collage, and other mixed media. Guests will be able to vote for their favorite artwork during the run of the show. A “People’s Choice” award of $50 will be presented to the artist whose piece receives the most votes.

St Pete ArtWorks is an artist co-op gallery affiliated with the non-profit Gulf Coast Artists’ Alliance. As part of their community outreach efforts, an open call was issued for artists to be exhibited in the featured area of the gallery. The call brought 99 entries from 54 artists. A juried blind review selected 35 works to be exhibited.

“ArtWorks Open” takes place January 2-28. The opening reception will be on St. Pete’s Second Saturday Art Walk with live music by Leon Barickman. The reception is free and open to the public.
