The Saratota/Manatee Alumnae chapter of the Sigma Alpha Iota, musical fraternity is pleased to announce it’s annual fundraiser. Funds generated from these concerts are used to benefit Youth Music programs in the greater Bradenton/Saratota area. This year, the organization is pleased to have as featured guest artist, Jeremy Daniel Filsell, Rebecca Kellerman-Filsell, soprano, and the Key Chorale Student Scholars.

Jeremy Filsell is a British pianist, organist and composer who has served as director of music at Christ Episcopal Church in Bradenton, Florida since September 2025. He previously held similar positions in the United Kingdom and the United States, including at the St. Thomas Church in New York City prior to coming to Bradenton. He has studied at the University at Oxford, Keble College, the Royal College of Music, Blue Coat Church of England School and received His PhD in Musicology from Birmingham City University/Conservatoire. In his career, he has won numerous prizes and competitions and has made many recordings, both on organ and piano..
In demand in the UK, until 2008 he was lecturer in academic studies at the Royal Academy of Music, visiting tutor in organ studies at Eton College. Previously he was assistant organist at Ely Cathedral, He has taught masterclasses in performance and interpretation throughout the UK and in the U.S. at Yale UUniversity and Utah State University.
From 2008 to 2009, Jeremy was principal organist of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. and in 2010 became artist-in-residence at Washington National Cathedral.
Filsell is married to Rebecca Kellerman-Filsell, a freelance soprano who also works with Sarasota Young Voices.Rebecca Kellerman-Filsell is a choral specialist with 30+ years of experience singing, teaching, and leading choral programs. Rebecca serves as Assistant Artistic Director of Sarasota Young Voices and is the former Music Associate for Children and Youth at Saint Thomas Church in New York City where she founded their children’s choir, The Noble Singers.Rebecca holds a BM and MM in Voice Performance from Shenandoah University.
The Key Chorale Student Scholar Leadership Program equips gifted high-school musicians with the training and real-world experience they need to excel at the college level and beyond. Aimed at students with exceptional musical aptitude who plan to continue their studies after graduation, the program upholds a minimum 3.0 GPA to foster both academic and artistic commitment. Nominees are recommended by their choir directors and then chosen through personal interviews and competitive auditions.
Once selected, Student Scholars participate in a full Key Chorale season—singing in concerts, attending master classes, and taking part in additional performance opportunities—all at no cost. Over time, the program has grown into a three-tiered internship that blends in-depth vocal technique and choral skills training with meaningful leadership experiences.
