Humana is serving up something new this fall: a series of pickleball pop-ups that will transform three Simon mall locations into lively hubs of play, movement, and community connection.

On Saturday, October 25, Tyrone Square Mall will become a full-scale indoor pickleball arena – free and open to the public. The day will spotlight the physical, mental, and social benefits of the sport with a mix of on-court action, off-court fun, and health resources.

Community members can hit the courts for reserved and open play, catch appearances from pickleball pros and fitness personalities, and take home tips to stay active and healthy – all while connecting with neighbors in a fun, accessible way.

The October 25th event will feature:
• On the Court:
o Clinics: New to the game of pickleball? We’ve invited the Association of Pickleball Players (APP) and Humana coaches to provide lessons at the event and welcome both veterans and newcomers alike into the world of pickleball.
o Reserved Play: For those wanting to skip the line, select court times will be available to reserve ahead of the event.
o Open Play: If you don’t get a reservation, not to worry, courts will be available day-of for walk-on play.
• Off the Court:
o SilverSneakers® Warm Ups and Cool Downs: High-energy sessions will help participants prepare, stretch, and shake off the competition on the court.
o Backcourt Refresh Station: If you’re looking for a timeout, the station will be equipped with refreshments and recovery tools like massage devices, resistance bands, and zero gravity chairs.
o Community Care: Guidance on injury prevention and healthy living resources.
