Join artist Ali Banisadr in conversation with Dr. Stanton Thomas, the MFA’s Hazel and William Hough Chief Curator, for an illuminating discussion on the ideas, experiences, and influences that shape Banisadr’s singular artistic practice.

They will reflect on the evolution of Banisadr’s work over nearly two decades, the role of synesthesia in his creative process, and the layered visual language that animates his densely layered paintings.
