International Swimming Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Featuring Michael Phelps
The International Swimming Hall of Fame (ISHOF), the official global home for aquatic history, today announced that tickets are on sale now for their 2023 induction ceremony headlined by Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all time.
Tickets are available on Ticketmaster via LINK. The 58th Annual Induction Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Sept. 30 in Fort Lauderdale at the historic Parker Playhouse.
Overall, the ISHOF class of 2023 features 13 honorees representing eight countries and comprising of five swimmers, two coaches, one diver, one water polo player, one synchronized swimmer, one open water swimmer, and one outstanding contributor.
Headlining the class is the unparalleled Phelps (USA), hailed as the greatest swimmer and Olympian of all time. Phelps's unmatched career boasts a staggering 28 Olympic medals, 23 of which were gold.
The class features outstanding individual swimmers, including Missy Franklin (USA), Kosuke Kitajima (Japan), Cesar Cielo (Brazil), and Kirsty Coventry (Zimbabwe), Trischa Zorn (USA), the greatest Paralympic athlete since the inception of the Games, makes history as the first-ever Paralympian to be inducted into the ISHOF.
