MFA Spring Break Teen Workshops
MFA Spring Break Teen Workshops
Spring Break plans? Make them creative.
From March 16–20, 2026, the MFA invites teens ages 13–17 to spend their break immersed in art, experimentation, and hands-on studio time. Each day begins in the galleries with a guided docent tour, followed by in-depth artmaking sessions where students explore new materials, techniques, and ideas inspired by 5,000 years of art.
Teens can register for individual days or join us for the full week at a discounted rate. Workshops run daily from 9:00 AM–3:45 PM, and space is limited.
Daily Workshops:
March 16 | Paint! Impressionism + outdoor “en plein air” painting
March 17 | Collage & Mixed Media! Zines, sculpture, and layered creations
March 18 | Print! Sun prints, monoprints, and linocut techniques
March 19 | Art & Archaeology Greek & Roman art, mosaics, and clay
March 20 | Fiber Arts Fashion design, embroidery, weaving—plus a take-home sewing kit
Whether your teen is an experienced artist or just ready to try something new, this week is designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and make Spring Break unforgettable.
