The Cobb Institute Symposium on Health Disparities
The Cobb Institute regularly highlights the work and findings of researchers and practitioners who are advancing solutions and strategies for racial and ethnic disparities in health and healthcare. Going beyond our academic or scientific journals, most of our scientific gatherings also facilitate information exchange with the public as well as university students. Our conference usually opens with a content expert (or Cobb Lecturer), and then brings in multiple additional perspectives from moderated panel discussion brings. Our meetings normally take on a more interactive format, and the discussion is often participant-driven and conversational. These normally quality for 2-4 continuing education credits for physicians, researchers and other health professionals.
