Unclaimed Florida Property Will Be Up For Sale At Orlando Auction

Money
More than 58,000 items will be available during the auction.

More than 58,000 items will be available on Saturday during Florida’s 2019 unclaimed property auction in Orlando.

The items, valued at more than $600,000 come from belongings left behind in bank safety deposit boxes, which ultimately ended up under state control.

After two years, to make room, the items are auctioned off to the public, with the proceeds set aside for the original owner to claim.

Saturday’s auction opens at 9 a.m. the Orlando Airport DoubleTree hotel.
