In one sense it's not surprising -- it took Scottish scientists nearly 300 attempts before Dolly was cloned, a time consuming process that involves many animals and many years. But there also appears to be relatively little interest among scientists to try to reproduce the experiment - an experiment that is necessary to prove that Dolly isn't a fluke.
