Senate Bill 7036 is a wide-ranging, 40-page education bill, which among other things would allow school districts to purchase curricula developed by the Florida Department of Education.

The county commission voted to include the Ten Commandments along with the Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and U.S. Constitution in historical displays.

After independent analysis, the museum said on Monday that five of its famed Dead Sea Scrolls fragments were fake. They will be pulled from their exhibit. Other fragments will undergo further study.
