NPR's Tom Gjelten reports on a change in plans for U.S. troops and Bosnia. Today, President Clinton announced he's willing to station 85-hundred United States soldiers in Bosnia next year even though he had promised to bring all the troops out of Bosnia in December. He said the U.S. could be part of a new NATO peacekeeping operation if that operation is clearly defined, limited and achievable.
