On The Road with Farai Chideya: Phoenix

The News and Notes with Ed Gordon correspondent and sometimes co-host Chideya talks about ethnic issues in Phoenix, Ariz. -- known as the "new Mecca" for the nation's black middle class.

There's lots of money to be made here, especially in real estate, and many black families are moving West to take advantage. There's also a large population of black military families and retirees who have made the area home.
