London subway passengers were surprised when they stopped at an abandoned station

LEILA FADEL, HOST:

Good morning. I'm Leila Fadel. Passengers on a subway in London were in a bit of a spot when their train made a stop at an abandoned station. The London Underground's Jubilee line hasn't used the Charing Cross Station in nearly 25 years. A spokesman for Transport for London said the incident was the result of a miscommunication. The empty section of the station has been used occasionally for filming, but luckily this wasn't the start of a horror movie. Mind the gap. It's MORNING EDITION.
