Rescue and recovery efforts continue in Afghanistan after earthquake

Afghans continued rescue and recovery efforts after a strong earthquake killed some 1,400 people and injured more than 3,000 in eastern Afghanistan, according to figures provided by the Taliban government.

We check in with NPR’s Diaa Hadid about the 6.0 magnitude quake that hit late Sunday while people slept.
