Chris Butcher can’t remember a time when she wasn’t drawing. In college, while majoring in elementary and special education, she spent her free time painting pictures to decorate the dorm rooms of her friends. Over the years, she tried most mediums but has “mostly” settled on colored pencil. Her new series, “The Bird People,” remakes famous paintings by changing all the people into birds.

This show runs in conjunction with our main exhibit and can be viewed every Saturday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Free docent tours of the main exhibit are offered every Saturday at 3:00 p.m. (no reservations needed).
