Forget the formalwear! Sarasota’s newest signature fundraiser is inviting guests to party in their pajamas. Teen Court of Sarasota presents its inaugural Justice & Jammies gala on Friday, November 7 at 6:00 PM at the Art Ovation Hotel, and it’s poised to be a night like no other.
Billed as “Sarasota’s Swankiest Slumber Party,” this fresh take on fundraising encourages attendees to embrace their cozy side in elevated loungewear while enjoying an evening of live entertainment, themed experiences, auctions, games, and more. Think satin sets, silk robes, feathered slippers, and a whole lot of fun; all in support of a critical cause.
The event benefits Teen Court of Sarasota, which is dedicated to giving teens a second chance to shape their futures. By offering restorative justice programs for youth referred by law enforcement, courts, schools, or parents, Teen Court helps build self-esteem, accountability, and a healthier relationship with authority. Teens serve as jurors, attorneys, and bailiffs in real court cases, gaining firsthand experience in civic engagement while charting a new path forward.
“Justice & Jammies is not your typical gala,” says Teen Court CEO Heather Todd. “It’s a celebration of second chances, wrapped in comfort and creativity, that reflects the mission and heart of our organization.”
