The USF men's basketball team is getting ready for Saturday's game against West Virginia--a game that some are calling the Bulls' "biggest home game in 20 years."
With 19 wins, including 12 in the Big East conference and six in its last 7 games, the thought is the Bulls make the NCAA Tournament. However, even coach Stan Heath admits he's heard the doubters, telling the St. Petersburg Times:
"I still think every now and then it's like no one wants us to get in. It's like we're the unsexy girl out there that nobody likes," coach Stan Heath said. "We've got to keep kicking the door, because you just don't know. You don't want to leave anything to chance.
The Bulls (19-11 overall, 12-5 Big East) take on West Virginia (18-12, 9-11) Saturday at noon at the Tampa Times Forum. USF is offering 10 dollar tickets (children under get in free) and free "Madness" T-shirts with all seats in the lower bowl. Go to the USF Athletics website for more information.
