Orioles-Rays Tickets On Sale

AP

The series was originally scheduled for Oriole Park at Camden Yards, but has been relocated to Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg due to protests and violence in Baltimore.

Tickets are on sale to the public for the Tampa Bay Rays three-game series this weekend against the Baltimore Orioles.

The series was originally scheduled for Oriole Park at Camden Yards, but has been relocated to Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg due to protests and violence in Baltimore.

"I don't think they would have asked us to play games in Baltimore unless they could guarantee the safety of the team and of the situation as a whole," said Rays Vice President Brian Auld. "I really believe that they feel like the best use of resources in Baltimore right now are not around hosting, you know, tens of thousands of people at baseball games."

Due to the relocation, the Orioles will play as the home team. All tickets will be sold as general admission tickets in the lower level only.

"Fans can move around a bit," Auld said. "Those who get here early will probably have really good seats. "

Tickets are available online with no fees so fans can print at home. The team also expects a large volume of walk-up sales.
