Cold Weather Shelters To Open In Pasco, Citrus

Pasco and Citrus counties are opening shelters because of Friday night's expected cold weather.

Joining Hands Missions at 3333 US Hwy 19 North in Holiday will be open for individuals. Pasco County officials say families can contact United Way for more information at 211.

The Salvation Army in Citrus County is opening a shelter at 712 South School Avenue in Lecanto.

Temperatures north of the Tampa Bay area are expected to drop Friday night into the low to mid 30s.
