After a shooting at the Fort-Lauderdale-Hollywood International airport today that killed five people and left 13 others injured so far, other airports are reacting.

Tampa International Airport spokesperson Christine Osborne said airport police have stepped up their presence inside the terminals.

And three Spirit Airlines flights en route to Fort Lauderdale were re-routed to Tampa.

Miami International Airport officials say they've also increased security.

Orlando International Airport tweeted: "In light of the incident in Fort Lauderdale, there is heightened surveillance and monitoring of airport activity at MCO. At this time there is no impact in airport operations."
