Florida gas prices declined the past nine consecutive days for a total of 8 cents per gallon.

In a news release, AAA said the state average is $2.46, which is 6 cents less than a week ago.

But AAA says the latest developments in the U.S.-China trade agreement may cause the plunge at the pump to stall or even reverse course.

The Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater metro market has some of the cheapest gas in the state at $2,38, followed by Punta Gorda and Pensacola.

Some of the most expensive gas is in the West Palm Beach-Boca Raton region at $2.57, followed by Sebring and Gainesville.
