"Florida, you know me. You know I say what I mean and I mean what I say," President Barack Obama said to cheering supporters at a rally in Ybor City on Thursday morning.

Obama listed several promises he made in his 2008 campaign, stating that he has followed through on them.

Ending the war in Iraq, beginning a withdraw from Afghanistan, lowering taxes on small businesses and the middle class, allowing gay service members to serve openly in the military, and passing Obamacare were some of the things Obama promised that he says he's delivered during his first term.

"Unemployment is falling. Manufacturing is coming back. Our assembly lines are humming again. We've got a long way to go, but Florida, we've come too far to turn back now," said Obama.
