As President Barack Obama tours damaged areas of the Northeast U.S. after Hurricane Sandy, Vice President Joe Biden continues on the campaign trail.
In Sarasota today, Biden began by taking a moment to recognize those just ravaged by Hurricane Sandy.
"I am so proud to say, the president coordinated effort to deal with something, as an old joke goes, you've forgotten more about hurricanes than most people will ever learn," Biden said. "But this has been a pretty devastating storm."
The Vice President also took his usual jabs at Republican nominee Mitt Romney and his running mate, Paul Ryan. He criticized their latest television advertisement. It claims, under the Obama administration, GM and Chrysler plan to move jobs to china at the expense of workers in Ohio.
"The Chrysler Company, including the Chairman of the Board of Chrysler, they actually spoke up. They don't want to get involved with presidential politics, but they spoke up," Biden added. "They called it 'A leap that would be difficult even for professional circus acrobats'."
With only six days left days until the presidential election, both parties are making their last pushes in major swing states like Florida.
