The Miccosukee Tribe is suing over the immigration detention center that was in its backyard, the facility dubbed "Alligator Alcatraz." Now, they've given money to candidates who publicly supported it.

The FEC sent a letter stating that contributions made to Donalds' congressional campaign after the date of his gubernatorial announcement "must be refunded."

Noah Bookbinder, of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, said the case "closes one of the loopholes that has allowed the system to get out of control."
