Safe and Sound Hillsborough

The Safe Summer Series hopes to promote safe and structured fun as the Tampa Bay area sees a spike in "teen takeover" gatherings, a number of which have ended in shootings and arrests.

Disruptions and damage caused by hurricanes Milton and Helene exacerbated challenges teens in the program already faced. Safe and Sound Hillsborough is working with community partners to support them.
