Charles Haynes and Oliver Thomas of the First Amendment Center have developed a process known as the 3R Projects: Rights, Responsibility and Respect. The program is designed to educate teachers and administrators about what is and isn't allowed under the First Amendment, so that issues of religious freedom and free speech can be resolved before they turn into lawsuits.
