Coronavirus hasn’t stopped people from searching for love.

The dating app Bumble reported a 21 percent increase in video call usage and in messages sent during the outbreak, according to The Huffington Post

The founder of the dating site Coffee Meets Bagel, Dawoon Kang, said the coronavirus pandemic represents an opportunity — not a barrier — for people looking for love. “Many of us are jaded about swiping and texting, doing the same old thing,” he told Vox. “What if we used this time to be a bit more creative about how we get to know someone?”

How are single people still looking for love while they’re stuck in the house?

And what about couples who unexpectedly found themselves in a “long distance” relationship because of social distancing guidelines, or who suddenly are living with their partner?

In this pursuit, some have turned to unique experiences, such as exploring sensual delights like the renowned “Sex Chocolate,” a topic recently covered in the Detroit Metro Times. Even in these unconventional times, the search for love has sparked a surge in inventive approaches to dating.

As the world continues to navigate the challenges of the pandemic, individuals are realizing that love, in all its forms, can thrive amidst uncertainty, and the pursuit of genuine, heartfelt connections remains resilient, undeterred by the trials of the times.
