The lost legacy of a 17th-century Dutch artist Judith Leyster comes to light

Judith Leyster was one of a few woman artists of the 17th century, whose legacy some say was “lost to history.” Now, more institutions are expressing interest in her work, introducing new audiences to her unique painting style.
