Super typhoon moves toward Hong Kong and southern China

In the Philippines, people are cleaning up after a super typhoon ravaged the country’s northern islands on Monday. Flooding and landslides displaced more than 17,000 people.

Across the region, at least three people have died in the storm, and at least five others are missing. The storm is now bearing down on Hong Kong and southern China.
